False Confessions

These "Confessions" were written at the same time, on the same day, using the same methods.

John had set up Morgan so he could come at her from all angles, entering into a phony settlement with her verbally  which he had no intention of honoring.

First, the checks, created evidence of fraud.

John had shown Morgan how to write his signature when they were living together because he, said, she was to pay the bills in that manner.

Morgan did, in fact, pay many of their household bills from the time they started living together in August.  Others John paid when at work.

All checks written from the accounts in question are now being demanded.

A handwriting expert will be able to analyze these and confirm Morgan was writing checks for seven months, proof this was a regular practice agreed to by both parties.  It also proves John lied when he said Morgan was "crashing on his couch for a few days."

On or about January 2002 John agreed to settle with Morgan and sat with her in his apartment in Jersey City.  Morgan had told Fund she was moving out.  The couple discussed her finding an apartment in NY and John staying there with her.

Fund gave her several checks.  He told her how much to write each check for.  Each represented compensation for what he had done to her which he admitted was wrong or money for the new apartment, when she found it.

These included an amount for having treated her badly when she moved out.  For going through the abortion alone.  Paying for her new apartment for a few months,  one for electricity, one for food, especially since he was gong to stay there.

In retrospect it seemed strange to her he did not write them himself.  Morgan believed at this point their relationship was continuing.  John went with her and watched as she deposited  the first two checks.  He had never done this before.

Email between Morgan and Fund on the checks.

Morgan moved out.   The checks were deposited in her Citibank account.  Then, at Fund's request, Morgan started an account at Chase, on which she put both their names.  The account was to be for their joint use.

John immediately found Morgan and moved in with her, bringing his clothing.

While living with Morgan in NY John contacted the bank and using his personal connection there, Ellen Wesley, claimed the money was stolen.  For several days Morgan was moving and did not know what John had done.  Then the rent check bounced to her landlord.  She called the bank and found out her accounts were locked.  Statement from landlord.

John then says, "If you were smart you would have taken the money out in cash."  Frantic, she asks what she is to do with the expense of an apartment and no money.  Fund responds, "Exactly what I tell you to do."  She was to, "help him manage the situation.  She would have to leave New York, her friends, and change her name."  He also said he had to protect himself from Melinda.  He said he intended to destroy Melinda to protect himself.

On January 24th Fund walked into the apartment and demanded Morgan write two confessions.  He beat her, pushed her around, grabbed her by the arm, yelled in her face, threatened to destroy her, she would, he said, never have a life any more.  He was very important, his friends, from the White House, Cheney's Office and Rove, and the media, all of them,  had agreed to help him.  They would destroy both her and her mother.  His attorney had told him he needed the letters she would now write for him.

He dragged her over to the small table in the conversation area, gave her paper and pencil and dictated what she was to write.

We are now demanding all the phone calls and emails from Fund to the WSJ, the White House, Cheney's office, and Fox News from December 1, 2001 until January 1, 2005.

Both of these documents were written on the same day for the same reason, fear and intimidation.

Read both documents carefully.

Confession No.     - To Whom it May Concern

After forcing Morgan to write this Fund dragged her from the apartment at 60 E. 9th to the notary's office at Bleecker St.  He stood next to her while the document was notarized.  He did not leave her afterwards, keeping her in hand.  At the first moment she managed to escape she called her mother, babbling hysterically and crying about what had happened.  She was terrified and unable to take action, believing Fund's threats, which proved to be all to real.

Point One.  Morgan was battered by John Fund in New Jersey.  Independent witnesses heard Morgan being abused.  Affidavits.  The DA in NY failed to ask for witnesses even though he was told witnesses existed.  Melinda was never interviewed.

Point Two.  Melinda sent John a Christmas present while the couple was living together in 2001. It was a Star Wars mouse pad plus other Star Wars memorabilia.  John was delighted when he opened them. Melinda would not have sent them, given the circumstances, if he had not been talking about doing the right thing, finally.

Melinda discussed the wedding with John and made the plans, spending money.  If she had not known, directly from Fund, marriage was planned,  she would not have bought the decorations for the reception, rented the room, ordered the cake and flowers or bought the material for the dress.  See Wedding.    Would anyone?

Confession No. 2 - Letter to Gigot
Point 1. Morgan's emotional problem, which is now recognized as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, was caused by her interactions with Craig Franklin and John Fund.  This is a cause of action, not proof of insanity.  Morgan recognizes the difference between fantasy and reality.  John and his NeoCon friends, clearly do now.
