This letter was written to Melinda by Fund on the occasion of the yearly convention of the Libertarian Party of California. This was, she believes, the second time Fund met Morgan, the first time he probably did not differentiate her from the other kids, as there were many.
This post card was sent by John to Melinda for no particular reason, though Melinda thought it was a nice impulse. It went into a box, along with the letter, of missives from others, including elderly friends from community groups.
