Greedville, a typical corporation? Probably not. It
is actually a small operation compared to most. The
smallness makes it easier to demonstrate the despicable effects of
greed on the ethically challenged who pick up habits from psychopaths,
such as Craig Franklin.
Green Hills
Software and the story of Dan O'Dowd, Greedmeister, scheming with his Senior
Vice President, Craig Franklin, lets you follow corporate corruption and greed on
foot or by bicycle in the lovely environs of Santa Barbara. You
may even get the photo opportunity of snapping Dan and Craig going
out to lunch together. You will see other people who you will also read about here.
The money and grasping for power takes you to the truth about all of it.
Dan has most of the money, 97%, or $300,000,000 last year alone. You tolerate a lot for that kind of money. Dan is in a stable marital relationship so the psychiatrists we consulted do not think he is a psychopath himself. He falls in another category, which we have named, Dan O'Dowd Syndrome. Craig wanted other things, for instance groupies. Now he has them for $500 an hour. Craig is his own jobs program and no training is necessary.
Dan reminds one of Charles Montgomery Burns, Homer Simpson's boss, a curiously appropriate comparison. Perhaps Dan channels Mr. Burns. This is the Craig portion of the tour. Dan comes later along with the NY Tour.
Since now we are all economically challenged a Greed Line Tour Bus Company is in the offing. Rebuilding jobs in America should start with those which solve the problems. Think of this as Green Tourism of the Reforming kind.
Green Hills, unlike all of us, still has money rolling in from government contracts, granted first during the Bush Group years, but continuing without comment, or oversight on their ethics and practices, today.
Enjoy State Street, the shops, the beach, let its beauties heal you. Not all profits are monetary. Some are counted in changes achieved. Beach and State Street Locations As you tour Santa Barbara take time to enjoy what makes it a tourist attraction of international fame. Its beaches are great. Hang out, take a walk of a dip. Savor something luscious from one of the local restaurants before the economy really tanks. Santa Barbara is famous for its restaurants. When the downtown was still in the possession of the Chumash, who lived amidst its beauties for from between 30,000 and 14,000 years, they had two settlements in this immediate area. The first around the stream which flows into the ocean along Laguna and the second at the area now covered by the Mission. Morgan encountered Ronnie, a friend of my Dad's, on several occasions but one of these took place while he was bagging his groceries at what was then the Safeway, now Vons, at the Fairview exit from the IOI. 820 State Street, 4th Floor Jacqueline Misho gained fame as the divorce attorney for the wife of John Cleese, launching Cleese's After Divorce Tour in 2009. The greed was thick in the air - and since we do not have a picture of Misho we took the nod from Cleese and are using an Orc. In 1998 Misho's law
office was located at the rear of the Old Paseo, towards the beach. Theft, fraud, and advising her clients on dirty tricks is her stock and trade. Toxic Lawyer warnings should be issued.

Complaint filed against Misho. X Borders Book Store is conveniently located on the corner of State and Canon Perdido Streets right next to the Metropolitan Fiesta 5 Theatre at 916. Parking was up top. While we were married Borders was a frequent destination, before of after going to the movies. It was here Craig saw, but did not recognize, our daughter, Dawn, less than a year after he left me. 900 State St. X The Lobero Theater is tucked behind Borders from State Street. Opera and other delights happen there. Craig fantasized about having an audience sit, frozen to their seats, while he sang there. His Romantic Realist Records is his latest attempt at Rockstardom. It was a blunter, less sophisticated con job than we are experiencing now but with a probable similar outcome. Descendants of the original soldiers and Mexican invasion still sign fondly over the good old days. Craig never goes there, making it a Craig-Free-Zone. General Information Court House Legacy Foundation It was in this court house, a fantastic Moorish structure, I realized just how corrupt our court system had become. This view is of the back, showing the Sunken Garden, the footprint of the court house pre the 1926 earthquake which leveled most of Santa Barbara, at the lower left. Many weddings take place there. Due to our court system many, many destroy with the power of an earthquake. Allowing psychopaths, like Craig Franklin and John Fund, free reign, has done a lot to toxify all human relationships. X The Santa Barbara Sandwich Shop is now gone, the all to frequent fate of restaurants and eateries. But it was a place we went to regularly. In early March, 1998, Craig asked our son Arthur to have lunch with him there. Over the sandwich and fries he told his adopted son, still depressed and suffering from a near fatal motorcycle accident, he would never be happy living with me, his mother. Arthur's accident had necessitated a conservatorship. He was slowly recovering, working through the depression which accompanies such injuries. After that day he became angry, lashing out at me. X The Cafe Buenos Aires is Craig's favorite restaurant, so a good place for sitings. I was told by two different people, one Craig's secretary at the time, a story too incredible to be believed. After he left me he had, the woman said, taken a blind date there, giving her some sexy underwear. The woman, he told her obviously bewildered, excused herself to go to the bathroom and climbed out the window. Craig may well be at the Cafe for this Valentine's Day with the new candidate for becoming, "The One." I did not at the time know about psychopathic behavior. Now I do. Exciting events take place at the Arlington, which yearly hosts the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The theater, which was a hotel before the '26 Quake, is directly across the street from Green Hills Software, on Sola, almost our next stop. It was at the Arlington where Craig fantasized a role for himself in the movies, one he has now achieved as Executive Producer of Mercury Rising Films. The film, now under production, Barracuda, is about a woman who makes it her mission to expose pedophiles and other deviants. As all too often happens, fantasy and real life converge in the movies. Arlington Theater - 1317 State Street X Craig Franklin had several appointments with Dr. Michael Marquart as the Tax Crisis of 1997 erupted. Marquart met with Franklin in his office, just around the corner from GHS. What is behind the lavishly maintained landcaping of this software company, poised across the street from the Arlington? Most employees do not know the story of how GHS was founded and why Dan keeps Craig on even when he uses the company itself as cover for his sexually deviant behavior. Green Hills Software produces a product called, "Integrity." Not a good choice of names,Dan. Green Hills Software - 30 w Sola X The El Prado Inn is the closest motel to Green Hills Software and so Craig moved in when he left his wife on January 21, 1998. He stayed until someone found a condo for him to rent several years later. It is not known if GHS was picking up the tab via his expense account but this may be the case. See The Green Hills Story. El Prado Inn - 1601 State St. Milpas, near Bird Sanctuary, Montecito Craig Franklin went to Dollyia, Psychic Reader, for a consultation only to be told he needed to stop doing everything which brings him pleasure.
